Our customer is selling a Super Rare Low Production Original 280 V8 Falcon, 5 Year Old Restoration. Fun Super Light Pre-Curser to the Pony Car. Tons of attention due to it's rareness and cool looks. The car runs fantastic with the matching numbers engine with mods and the upgraded 5 speed manual overdrive trans out of a later model mustang. The car sounds as good as it runs with headers & dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers. The car runs super cool and cruises with traffic without effort with the 5 speed manual overdrive. The all of the worn front suspension have been replaced, including upper & lower ball joints, shocks & springs. The car has a new factory style wire harness throughout. The interior is resto- mod style custom with just a few new style touches for comfort and function. The car is still an ongoing project and will need a few things hooked up like the speedo which has the cable but needs the proper adapter for the trans. The car has original style power assist steering but the pump seals started to leak (I have rebuild kit) and the steering box is worn so they will need to replaced or rebuilt to bring steering feel up to par. All and all these things are minor, cheap and don't hinder the drive-ability of the car. The body and paint are really nice with a factory Cadillac candy color and only has a few scratches and dings that can be easily fixed and matched due to the factory color used. The floors have had metal patches installed by previous owner, not professional but sealed up. This car has tons of time and money invested and even with it's minor flaws could not be duplicated for anywhere near this price. Please don't come at me with low ball numbers as I have adjusted the price accordingly so you can address any issues on the car - the price is FIRM. He will Possibly trade - No bikes or RV's. prefer early muscle cars. Super fun light weight cruiser for the cash!

WIKI NOTES 63 COMET -
In 1963, even more models were available. There was now a four-door Futura and a Deluxe wagon. Later, convertibles and then hardtops, and the new "Sprint" model were introduced. Halfway through the model year (February 1963), the Fairlane's 164 hp "Challenger" 260 CID (4.3 L) V8 engine was offered for the first time. The only time a V8 or Convertible option was available in a first-generation Falcon was the 1963½ model, and these cars were produced in very limited numbers (Sprint two-door hardtop (bucket seats) 10,479 produced and Sprint cnvertible (bucket seats) 4,602 produced). These first-generation Falcon Sprint cars were the basis for the 1964½ Mustangs released by Ford one year later. Many (if not most) of the interior, chassis, suspension, and drivetrain components were derived from those used on the 1963½ Ford Falcon Sprint and/or Fairlane models. In simplest terms, the 1963½ Falcon Sprint is nearly mechanically identical to the 1964½ Mustang while being aesthetically different.
