Up for sale is a highly documented 1977 Triumph Spitfire 1500. Documents go back to 1977 from original owner including almost 80 restoration receipts.Tons of money have been spent over the years maintaining and restoring this car. This rust free cruiser runs awesome and runs down the highway with ease with its 4 speed manual gear box that shift smooth and has overdrive. The engine runs strong,smooth, starts with ease and blows no smoke. The coolant system has been upgraded with aluminum radiator and new shrouding. The floors, trunk and body are solid with no rust through whatsoever to be found. The paint is a really good driver quality and shows really nice with only minor imperfections from driving and age. All in all it will hold it's own at any local car cruise or show. All of the vital components work including gauges, lighting, blinkers, wipers, etc. The brakes are manual and stop very good as well as handling which has a lot of new suspension replacement parts. The interior is really nice with no major rips or tears. There is a few little imperfections shows really nice. The top was rarely used and has no rips from age but the stitching cam lose from rear window section and can be fixed by an interior shop for less then $100 as quoted from a local shop. The car comes with a new spare set of tires event though the ones on it are almost new. You will hard pressed to find a nicer car for the money.
